We sell new and used car spares at affordable rates, and also offer rebuilds.
Are the parts available for purchase new or second-hand?
Both. On the Parts section on the website, all the parts are brand new, whereas on the Cars section, the cars’ parts are stripped and sold as second-hand parts.
How do I know if the parts that I buy online will fit my car?
Each part listed on the website has an image of it, displaying the colour and shape as well as a detailed description of the make, model and year ensuring that the part is a perfect fit. You can’t go wrong with all of that information!
What parts don’t you stock?
We do not supply truck or agricultural vehicle parts. Take a look at our parts section on our website to see if we have what you are looking for, if we don’t, we will order a new part for you (See ‘Order’ section below).
Are the parts that Ace Auto sell of a good quality?
Yes, we only stock the best quality parts! We only supply parts that are within original equipment/manufacturer specifications. All our used parts are genuine and have been through our quality control system.
What is the difference between cars and rebuilds?
Cars are cars that are badly damaged, which can’t be fixed. These cars are stripped for their parts and are sold second-hand. Rebuilds are cars, which have been damaged, but can be fixed. These rebuilds are sold as they are and can be fixed up by the buyer.
Why are there no car parts for my car?
If you are unable to find parts that you need; please be sure to contact us or use our Live Chat (on the bottom right hand corner) on the website, and our dedicated team will try and locate that specific part for you.
How can I order on Ace Auto’s website?
Ordering on our website is quick and easy:

Yes, all of your information is highly confidential, and secured through ‘https’ and a secure payment gateway. This means that no one, except for you, will be able to access all the information you have supplied.
How can I track my order?
Once a purchase has been made, you will be able to track your order on the website once you log into your account and go to your profile, then you simply have to click on the relevant order and you will be able to track it.
What payment methods are available?
We accept the following payment methods: credit card, EFT as well as cash payments. We accept the following cards: Mastercard, Verified by Visa, Visa, Payfast and Mastercard Securecode.
What does delivery cost?
We offer free delivery throughout Gauteng. Any deliveries out of Gauteng are handled by our courier partner, and delivery charges are calculated accordingly.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver nationwide in South Africa.
Do you deliver internationally or only in South-Africa?
We deliver internationally through trusted couriers.
What are your delivery times?
We will deliver your package within 3 to 4 working days, depending on the delivery location.
Can I pick up the parts myself?
We offer both delivery and pick-up options, whichever suits you better.
What happens if the parts are delivered, but I am not there?
We will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery time, which will be best suited to you.

What happens if I want to cancel my order, will I be reimbursed?
Should you cancel the order, before your item is dispatched or collected, you will be reimbursed within 3 working days. If your item has already been dispatched to our courier or delivered, your query will be treated as a return (see below for further details on returns).
What do I do if I have a complaint?
We have a dedicated customer care team that will assist you with any issues that may arise. We also have a live chat service on our website, which you can use at any time. We will try our best to accommodate you in the best way possible.
3. Right of return
What is your return policy?
- We have no guarantee on electrical parts, no returns will be accepted.
- All non-electrical parts should be returned within 3 working days.
- We don’t give any refunds on special orders.
What is your warranty on parts?
- We have a guarantee on all parts, except for electrical parts.
- Our warranties differ per item. We offer up to one month’s warranty on selected products.
What should I do if I am having trouble with a part?
You can contact us through the website, phone us directly, or come into the branch where you purchased the item from and we will happily assist you.
I have taken my car to the mechanics and they said my part is faulty, what should I do?
Be sure to contact a sales person at the branch you have bought the part from to confirm if the item is replaceable. If it is, we will happily replace it for you.
What information should I have ready when I call in with a question or concern?
We will need the following information from you: the invoice number/ online order number, as well as all the relevant information about the item and the issue/problem, which you are having.
If I need a replacement part, how long will it take to be delivered?
It will take up to 3-4 working days to deliver your replacement part.
What is your return and refund policy?
We have guarantees on all parts except for electrical parts. If you are not happy with a part, you can return it within 3 working days. We don’t offer refunds on special orders.
I have installed a part and I am having trouble with it, can I return it?
Yes, if it is within 3 working days, except for any electrical part or if a part has been damaged.
I returned my part, how long will it take to receive my refund?
It will take a maximum 3 working days for you to receive your refund.
